Monica Baillie

AIBC, AIA Principal & Chief Architect

Monica Baillie has more than 25 years of architectural design and planning experience. A registered architect since 1991, Monica holds an architecture degree from the UBC (1986) and Geography from SFU (1981), and has worked with notable Vancouver firms such as Arthur Erickson Architect, James K.M. Cheng Architect, and Larry McFarland Architect. An active member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC), Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Vancouver Chapter, and the Architectural Institute of America (AIA), Monica has been integral in multiple initiatives, such as the development of AIBC’s national industry construction contract standards. Monica is also licensed to practice in Washington State.

Rob Sieniuc

AIBC Architect

Rob Sieniuc has over 30 years of environmental design experience on a diverse range of architecture and planning projects throughout Western and Northern Canada—serving communities, government, resorts, First Nations and the private sector. He holds a Master of Environmental Design (Architecture), from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta. As a member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, Rob specializes in sustainable community planning and architecture. Rob is also an accomplished speaker and workshop leader on environmentally responsive development and has had many projects featured in newspapers, print and on television.

Brenda Clark

AIBC Architect

Brenda Clark is a senior architect and urban designer with about 25 years of experience. A registered architect since 1992, Brenda holds an Art History degree (1982) and an Architecture degree (1988) from UBC. Brenda’s experience includes working as an architect for the City of Surrey, co-authoring RCMP Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Guidelines, developing service station design guidelines adopted by multiple British Columbian municipalities, and preserving historical buildings and places. As both an architect and urban designer, Brenda brings valuable depth to our team.

Serena Piccioni

Intern Architect

Serena Piccioni has been with Landmark Architecture since 2013. She has a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the I.U.A.V. in Venice. She is an accredited architect in Italy. Ms. Piccioni is an excellent designer with experience in multi-family, commercial, urban design, reconstruction, and institutional and residential projects. Serena is particularly talented in civic projects and urban design. Serena is also experienced in interior renovations, upgrades, and tenant improvements.

Ron Toth

Technologist

Ron Toth is a graduate of BCIT’s Architectural and Building Technology program and joined Landmark Architecture as a technologist in 2013. Ron has worked on a variety of projects at Landmark, ranging from residential and commercial building projects to specifications for multi-phased mixed-use developments. His ability to produce architectural drawings in both AutoCAD and Revit has been invaluable on recent complex projects. Ron also has additional education in specification writing, construction documentation and construction contract administration.

Anne Marie Konas

Project Assistant

Anne Marie joined Landmark Architecture in 2012 and serves the group as a project assistant. With a talent for project coordination, she assists the specification writer in the production of architectural specifications, as well as coordinates various office duties.

Anne Marie has a strong background in leadership and project coordination of multiple community development programs and events. She is a team player bringing her people skills and attention to detail to every project.
