Munchkin Land

Landmark Architecture was able to save Family Place $200,000 and help them meet all their goals, including the key tenant, Munchkinland.

Munchkinland is the anchor tenant at Family Place in Parksville. Munchkinland is a dynamic early learning environment, part of the BC StrongStart program, which features different types of learning-through-play, language-enriched space for families to play together.

This facility is open to the public and is designed as a stigma free environment that makes working on disabilities or other issues invisible. The facility includes a clinic for immunizations, birth control, youth seniors, and native awareness. Some of the services that are offered are speech pathologist, physical therapist, counselling, infant development, occupational development, and more.

Munchkinland features an appealing environment with interactive play areas depicting a mainstreet, town square, stores, puppet theatre, airport, bakery, TV station, and art gallery.
